Far Canals formed in the early 90s in Galway, Ireland. They released 2 albums & 1 EP with Hunter S. Records. Their anarchic, anti-establishment ethos was reflected in their songs which railed against the police, drug laws, organised religion & political corruption. Influenced by punk & blues, Far Canals combined unusual guitar arrangements & distortion pedals to produce a highly distinctive sound.
